Unique Blog Designs Launches Theme Wars

It has been a few weeks now since I got the heads up about a new theme site from our friends at Unique Blog Designs called Theme Wars, and I’ve been anticipating this launch pretty much since I got the initial preview.   As of yesterday, it looks like the site is finally live and at launch, Theme Wars has five themes available.

The setup was designed for the premium themes community to vote on designs, and the winning designs will be coded into WordPress and released for sale under the GPL license.    The concept is great, though I think at launch there is still some work to do.   Currently the themes being voted on are already coded into WordPress, so it kind of takes the fun away.

As for the Theme Wars themes available, here are the five available at launch:
